Please see details below for information for SST Sugar Land’s upcoming Virtual STEAM Fest. Students can choose one project from the list below or create their own. They need to communicate their project choice as soon as possible to the appropriate content teacher below and digitally submit before May 20, 2021, to that teacher’s email as well for that content.

Parent/Student Information Virtual STEAM Fest for Elementary Grades (K-5th):

-May 25, 2021, is the date where participants and participant parents will be invited to a Zoom ceremony where winners will be announced; winners will be chosen by subject area teachers through the use of a rubric that will be provided.

-1 Winner Chosen for each grade level

-Student participation in this Virtual STEAM Fest competition is voluntary, but those who do participate and produce a project can choose what subject they want extra credit for, and a student would communicate that to the appropriate teacher; teachers will be able to see proof of project submission/completion on an Excel sheet that Mrs. Ahmad, Dean of Academics, shared with teachers.
