Dear Parents,
Last Friday and Saturday, 19 students from SST Sugar Land participated in the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston. Khevna, Josue, and Kamsi were recognized with a Special Award, indicating that their projects show great promise for future awards if further improvements are made. Mr. Akyuz received one of the nine "Teacher of the Year" Awards for his dedication to science and for bringing 10 projects and 19 students to the Science Fair. He was also awarded a $100 gift card for his Science classroom.
